I sat down in the library trying to finish homework. I wanted to be alone. I ALWAYS wanted to be alone. I saw another spot in the back of the library. "Quiet." I thought and smiled. I grabbed all of my stuff and rushed to that available seat. I sat down relieved and somewhat relaxed. I opened my science and began my homework.
There was a boy that walked in and sat in the seat across from me.
"Mind if I sit here?" He asked.
"No." I said still looking at my science book.
"How are you today?" He asked.
I looked up. "Look if you don't mind, I'm trying to do my homework." Then looked back down at my homework.
"Sorry." He said a little disappointed.
There was a long pause. Then he spoke again.
"My name's Drake." He said wanting me to shake his hand.
I looked at him again "Hi." I closed my book put it in my bag and got up and left the library.
