Should We Keep On?

Safaree felt a little bit of him die inside. He had left his wife of 7 years, Nicki may never talk to him again, and his car is destroyed. He decided to call Nicki.

Nicki woke up on the bed from which she was beat on. She got off the bed and got in the shower. As she was in the shower she thought. "Maybe I deserved this." she re-thought. "No I didn't, as much hell and shit as this man put me through, I didn't deserve this. I've been by his side for as long as I can remember."
Nicki jet out the shower and put her clothes on, and put her hair in a messy bun. She went downstairs where DeWayne was watching TV and smoking a cigar.

"DeWayne no smoking in my house."

"Fuck you talkin' to?"

"You." Nicki said cutting a pineapple. But not looking at him.

"BITCH THIS MY HOUSE!!"

"No need to yell. And I pay the bills here."

"Did I not teach you to keep ya damn mouth shut when we was up stairs?"

"Not now DeWayne." Nicki said washing the knife off.

"BITCH! I---"

Before he could finish his sentence Nicki had thrown the knife towards him but purposely missed just to scare him.

"I know you just didn't throw that knife a me."

"SHUT UP!! YOU'RE PURE BULLSHIT TO ME. ALL THE HELL YOU PUT ME THROUGH WHEN YOU WERE SLEEPING WITH YA HOES!" Nicki was so mad that her Trini accent was full blast.

"AND FUCK YOU DEWAYNE! I HOPE YOU ROT IN MOTHERFUCKIN' HELL! GET THE FUCK OUT MY HOUSE!!!"

DeWayne just sat there.

"I SAID GET OUTTTTTTTTTT!!!!!"

DeWayne was never so scared in his life. He jetted out the door so quick didn't even get a good glimpse of him.

Nicki stood there. Then remembered she had some pineapples.

Nicki's phone rang. It was Safaree. She was kinda scared. What if he was gonna be mad at her for ruining his marriage? "It's okay." Nicki thought.
She answered.

"Hello?"

"Hey it's Safaree."

"Hi."

"Look we need to talk. We can have lunch right after I get my car?"

Nicki gulped. "Okay."

"Alright bye."

Nicki hung up the phone faster than he could say good bye.

How will lunch go?
